  • Do you go to fairs and markets?
    From time to time we DO go to fairs and markets. Usually we go to showcase our products, launch new products, and test new products. Please bring your friends and family to these affairs. They may like my baked goods! 😌 We announce these in our Facebook®️ and Instagram®️ pages. Links are at the header and footer of this website.
  • Fruits and Flowers?
    Arrangements and ModBaskets™️that include fruits and/or flowers can be ordered for Pick up Only! These items are very delicate and highly perishable. The problem is that we have found that the carriers are very unreliable and even careless in the handling of these items. That is why we were forced to decide to offer these type of items for Pick up Only! We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We are sorry that we cannot be responsible for these items once they are picked up from our store. Fruits and flowers are natural products subject variations in appearance, size, color, and taste. We try very hard to provide you with the best available. We also try very hard to match these items to their appearance in the photos in the product catalog. All fruits and flowers are sourced locally for freshness. We cannot offer refunds on these items once they are picked up.
  • Can I return a product? Do you give refunds?
    Because of the perishable nature of our products, we CANNOT accept returns. We can issue refunds for damaged product or products sent in error, or if you choose, we can send you a replacement if it is available. Please e-mail me with details of the grievance and photos if appropriate to: Marie@modbaskets.com.
  • What if I can't wait three weeks to get my order?
    We recognize that sometimes it is not possible to plan ahead every aspect of our lives (and things happen!). So, if our commitments allow, we may be able to accommodate your request for a Special Order, but we cannot guarantee that we can do it under 3 weeks or at all. If we can do your Special Order on short notice, we need to impose a 25% fee on the original price, to cover for additional help, and to discourage last minute rush orders that can and should be avoided. We want to make you happy, so if we can, we will accommodate you. Just fill the Special Order Request Form and note that this is a RUSH request in the "Tell us about your event" section of the form., AND send me an email at Marie@ModBaskets.com alerting me of your RUSH request. I will get back to you advising you if we can accommodate your Special Order Request or not.
  • Why can't you ship faster?
    Marie is a mom of four, who is the sole baker for ModBaskets™, which is a Home-Produced bakery. With this in mind, she bakes and single-handedly fills your orders while she is simultaneously taking care and cooking for her children. Products are baked, or made, or assembled when you order them. Finished product is never dry stored, or stored frozen, or have preservatives added, EVER! Everything is as fresh as we can possibly provide. We take great pride in the quality of the products we sell. Making, assembling, and/or baking your order will take at least 72 hours from the moment you place your order. You cannot rush, nor accelerate preparing sourdough. Fruit pies shipped via Priority Mail need to be frozen for two days before mailing (because of the sugar content), and to protect the crust to keep the pie(s) together. Fruit pies are shipped out with cold packs. This is not necessary for local delivery or orders picked up at ModBaskets™ Home. The pecan and pumpkin pies do not need to be frozen. If you live in the Salt Lake Valley and chose "Delivery" as your shipping method we will deliver to your door as soon as the product is ready and packed (about three days). If you chose Priority Mail as your shipping method it will take at least 48 hours to get your order ready for packing. We DO NOT mail anything on Saturdays because your order will just sit in the in the post office until Monday since Priority Mail is not delivered on Sundays. If you chose "Pick up" at ModBaskets™ Home, congratulations!, you just saved the delivery charges! We will notify you when your order is ready to be picked up. (2 to 3 days) If you have a special situation, please contact us in advance.
  • Can I visit you, what are your store hours?
    We don't have a store yet. We hope to have one soon. I have a pick up curb booth outside ModBaskets™ Home so you can pick up your order and save the shipping charges. Please come and visit the booth! It is open on Fridays from 2 PM to 7 PM. We may surprise you with limited edition products and even specials! We love our customers and are very happy to have you! You can pay using Venmo™ at the booth for the items available. We are located at 2604 E Fox Hunt Dr, Sandy, Utah 84092-3343. There is a Google map at the bottom of the home page for your convenience.   • I couldn't find the answer to my question.

  • How do I cancel or pause a subscription?
    You can make changes to your payment options and change or pause your subscriptions by logging into our site and selecting: My Subscriptions tab. There you can cancel, pause or change your subscriptions. Select the Update Payment Method link to change payment details. If you run into trouble please contact me at Marie@ModBaskets.com or Jose@ModBaskets.com and we can take care of it. Thank you for your business! 💞
  • Can I pickup my products?
    Yes, you can pickup your products at our address: 2604 E Fox Hunt Dr, Sandy, Utah 84092 during our Pick Up Hours 2 PM to 7 PM every Friday. Pick up is FREE, if you come to our pick up booth (at curbside outside ModBaskets™ home) during posted pickup hours. When ordering just select "ModBaskets™ Home Pickup" as your Delivery Method. Shipping Charges will be erased before the payment screen!😊
  • Do you do Special Orders for product not in your menu?
    Yes, we do. Please fill the form "Special Order Request" on the left side of the the product grid on the "Baskets and More" page. A 50% deposit is required upon agreement and the rest is payable at pickup time. We provide a two hour window for pick up on the agreed time. After two hours the order is considered as "Abandoned" and you will be charges for the FULL AGREED PRICE. I think I can handmake something very special for you, please e-mail me at Marie@ModBaskets.com or better yet, fill the "Special Order Request" form and I will contact you.
  • How about recurrent orders?
    Our sourdough products have options for automatic orders (subscriptions) found at Shipping Methods for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly recurrent orders. If you are interested in other products please e-mail me at marie@modbaskets.com to see how I can accommodate you.
  • My product does not look like the photo. What happened?
    We try as hard as we can to match the looks of our products to our photos. Because all our products are individually handmade at my kitchen, there may be some variations in color and appearance. All of our ingredients are hand picked and prepared to perfection. Sourdough is a LIVE entity and is subject to variations as well. Gift ModBaskets™️are handmade and each is "one-of-a-kind" prepared with love and utmost care for each individual order. Again, we try our best to match the look of the photo shown in the website. We will contact you if there are changes, to get your approval.
  • ALLERGIES!! BEFORE ORDERING READ THIS!
    PLEASE!!! Let me know if you or the intended recipient of my products have allergies to food ingredients (gluten, eggs, dairy, dyes, pollen, etc.) We DO process peanuts and tree nuts, cross contamination is a possibility. It may be possible for me to adapt a ModBasket™ to your specific needs, since each is custom handmade. For bakery items it is harder to comply, but I can try. Contact me at Marie@ModBaskets.com with any questions or concerns. I will do my best to please you, but it may NOT be possible. The safety of our customers is of utmost importance for me! I CANNOT REFUND YOU IF YOU FAILED TO LET ME KNOW OF ALLERGIES BEFORE ORDERING.
  • What are your payment methods?
    Because of security and safety issues we prefer NOT dealing with cash. We DO NOT accept check either. We prefer Credit Cards and Debit Cards or PayPal. At our Store or during in person events we use Square® scanners. At our curbside booth we use Venmo™. Thank you for your understanding!
